Joint Injections

Joint injections are done for various painful joint conditions. The injection is done using ultrasound guidance to ensure the injection is safe and accurate.

Depending on the problem, different injections can be chosen. A common scenario is osteoarthritis. Depending on the severity of degeneration and amount of dysfunction the patient has, different pathways can be chosen:

1. Conservative care such as physiotherapy, bracing and massage

2. Regenerative injection such as PRP or prolotherapy

3. Joint lubricant such as Durolane® Hyaluronic acid

3. Anti-inflammatory injection such as cortisone

4. Surgical procedure

Each patient is unique, and choosing the right treatment path for you is important. During initial consultation, a comprehensive plan will be formulated to maximize your potential health.
